BTCCSquare news:

PayPal will embed its payment infrastructure directly into BigCommerce's platform through a new co-branded service launching in 2026. BigCommerce Payments will offer merchants unified access to PayPal's full suite of features—including buy-now-pay-later options and real-time balance visibility—while maintaining existing direct relationships with the payments giant.

The strategic MOVE signals PayPal's continued expansion beyond standalone checkout buttons into embedded finance solutions. For BigCommerce, the integration provides merchants with operational efficiency through centralized transaction management via their Control Panel.

While initial rollout targets U.S. merchants, both companies confirmed plans for international expansion. The partnership leverages PayPal's established trust in payment processing while giving BigCommerce a competitive edge in the e-commerce platform wars.
